Across The Board Cake Decorating is a family-owned business in the heart of the Tuggeranong CBD with frontage onto Anketell St, the Main Street in Greenway.

There is 8 short term car parks right outside the front door and a large car park within a very easy walking distance. We have an amazing staff of retail assistants, teachers, class designers, bakers and junior staff.

And most importantly we have incredible community of customers. 

Unfortunately, due to ongoing medical issues we have made the devastating and heart-breaking decision to offer our beloved shop for sale so that another dedicated owner can take it on and give it the love and attention it deserves. 

ATBCD is a Retail store with a commercial kitchen within the 134.5 square meters tenancy. The 40 square meter kitchen also doubles as our classroom that is suitable to easily fit 10 students.

We also have our own amenities and back unsigned entrance. ATBCD is a place where people can come for all their cake decorating supplies, edible images, custom cake toppers, custom 3D printed cookie cutters and embossers as well as naked cakes.

We are Canberra’s only local producer of naked cakes. We sell naked cakes to walk-in customers and to order. Currently we only bake 15 hours a week but there is the capacity to expand the production to full time.

 

We are one of only two cake decorating supply shops in Canberra and as we are in the heart of Tuggeranong, we are conveniently placed for our customers. 

We have hosted international decorators such as Debbie Brown and local world renown teachers such as Serdar Yener. We have great relationships with a variety of suppliers.

We also make all the cakes, cupcakes, cookies and icing used in classes. Our classes are a large part of the business and we offer classes to adults and children. Our school holiday programs have been very popular since we opened in 2018. Our adult classes run on Saturdays and the occasional Sunday.

We also run series of classes on weeknights for more complex classes. We currently have 5 teachers on staff, all with different specialities. 

ATBCD is a fully staffed, stocked and operational business with an ongoing lease.

The new owner will be able to take as little or as much of a role as they wish to.
